🩺#16 Roleplaying Injuries

At TrueNorth Roleplay, realism is paramount when portraying injuries. All players must roleplay injuries in a way that is authentic, immersive, and consistent with the situation.

🔹 Key Guidelines

1. Injury Realism

  • Portray injuries as realistically as possible.

  • Example: Being shot in the chest should result in labored breathing, pain, and visible distress.

2. Communication

  • Use /me or similar roleplay commands to communicate the nature and severity of your injuries to EMS or other responders.

  • Accurate communication ensures proper medical roleplay and immersion.

3. Post-Injury Roleplay

  • Continue to roleplay your injuries after receiving initial medical attention until fully treated at a hospital.

  • You may not revive and immediately flee or ignore medical instructions.

  • In high-speed crashes or accidents, roleplay shock, pain, and disorientation before continuing.

  • Ignoring realistic consequences (e.g., continuing immediately as if unhurt) is not permitted.

  • Severity of roleplay should match the seriousness of the incident.

5. Active Roleplay Situations

  • Do not respawn while actively involved in a roleplay scenario.

  • Prioritize realism and empathy for your character’s condition.

✅ Summary

Accurate injury roleplay enhances immersion and ensures safe, fair, and enjoyable experiences for all participants. Always consider how your character’s injuries would realistically affect their behavior and decisions.
