๐Ÿ‘ฎ#13 Cop Fear & Police Rules

TrueNorth Roleplay emphasizes realistic, immersive police interactions. Officers must be respected and feared, and all engagements should maintain RP integrity.

๐Ÿ”น Cop Fear & Engagement

  • Meaningful Interaction Required: Lethal force against officers cannot occur without prior roleplay engagement or justification.

  • Compliance at Gunpoint: Suspects must comply with officer commands unless involved in major crimes such as bank, store, jewelry, or house robberies.

  • Outnumbering Police: If criminals outnumber officers at a scene, suspects may apply gun fear rules to officers as part of roleplay.

๐Ÿšซ Cop Baiting

Cop baiting is strictly prohibited. Examples include:

  • Committing crimes directly in front of officers with the intent to provoke a chase or confrontation.

  • Taking hostages or displaying illegal items/weapons in view of officers to provoke a response.

  • Leading police on chases to compounds or ambushes to outnumber or trap them.

Enforcement: Staff discretion is applied based on evidence, including video submissions via tickets.

โš–๏ธ General Police Rules

  • In Custody: Once handcuffed, suspects cannot transfer or hide items (e.g., empty pockets into vehicles or onto other players).

  • Hostages: Taking an officer hostage is allowed. It is the officerโ€™s responsibility to inquire about outside help or vehicles, but assistance can still be roleplayed even if officers fail to ask.

  • Licenses: Officers may only remove licenses from living criminals. Dead bodies are off-limits.

  • Dirty Cops:

    • Corruption is not tolerated.

    • Accepting bribes to reduce punishment or share info is not automatically dirty behavior.

    • Giving or selling PD weapons/items is strictly prohibited and may result in permanent bans.

  • Water Chases: Use as a last resort and keep them brief.

  • Prison Transports: Gun fear may be enacted against officers during prison transport scenarios to attempt freeing suspects for crimes.

This policy ensures realistic, immersive, and fair police roleplay while discouraging exploits and unfair advantages.
