#10 Meta Gaming

Meta-gaming is strictly prohibited. This means using information your character could not realistically know or obtain in-character (IC) from out-of-character (OOC) sources (e.g., Discord, Twitch streams, voice chats, or external conversations) is not allowed.

Examples of Meta-Gaming (Not Allowed):

  • Using Discord voice chat to find out another player's location and acting on it in-game.

  • Watching someone’s livestream to learn their plans or position.

  • Reading chat logs or messages that your character didn’t see/hear IC.

  • Getting revenge on a player after respawning, without your character having IC knowledge of the situation.

How to Avoid Meta-Gaming:

  • Keep OOC and IC information completely separate.

  • If your character didn't hear it, see it, or learn it in RP, you can't act on it.

  • Use or /report if you need to clarify something without breaking immersion.

Violation of this rule can result in a warning, kick, or ban depending on the severity.
