๐Ÿค#1 Respect

Respect is everything

At TrueNorth, we prioritize respect, inclusivity, and kindness regardless of sexual orientation, gender, age, or background.

Our goal is to foster an environment free from bullying, discrimination, and harassment, where every member can enjoy their time within the community.

๐ŸŒ Community Standards

All members are expected to:

  • Treat others with dignity and respect

  • Promote an inclusive and welcoming environment

  • Avoid behavior that creates hostility or discomfort

  • Separate in-character conflict from out-of-character respect

Toxicity will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

๐ŸŽญ Roleplay Boundaries

To ensure everyone feels welcome:

  • All actions and comments must be justified within the context of roleplay.

  • Personal attacks are strictly prohibited.

  • Sexual harassment, bullying, excessive name-calling, or shaming are not allowed.

  • Remarks about a playerโ€™s out-of-character (OOC) persona, life, or identity are forbidden.

Roleplay conflict must remain in-character and must never cross into real-life attacks.

๐Ÿšซ OOC Harassment

Comments that attack, insult, or harass an individual outside of roleplay are strictly prohibited.

This includes:

  • Personal insults

  • Targeted harassment

  • Harmful or degrading remarks

  • Attempts to provoke or belittle another member OOC

There are zero exceptions to this rule.

โ›” Slur Policy

Racial, sexual, or any other discriminatory slurs are strictly prohibited โ€” both in-character (IC) and out-of-character (OOC).

This rule is non-negotiable and applies regardless of:

  • Roleplay context

  • Intent

  • โ€œJokesโ€ or sarcasm

โš ๏ธ Conduct Around Downed Players

Using derogatory language, slurs, or harassing comments toward a downed character โ€” or speaking in such a manner over a downed body โ€” is strictly forbidden.

This applies regardless of roleplay context.

TrueNorth Roleplay is built on respect. Immersive storytelling thrives when every member feels safe, valued, and included.

Violations of this policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the community.
